A great part of this recognition comes from the relationships and time put in working with professional athletes from Portugal and abroad. Great results have been achieved with boards coming out of Sementes factory door. Surfers like Vasco Ribeiro with three national titles, European and world junior title in 2014. Marlon Lipke entering in the WCT in 2009, European champion in 2012. Gony Zubizaretta with amazing results throughout his long career on the WQS. Nic Von Rupp “tube rider supreme” whos talents in solid barrels are world renowned. Next generation surfers like Tomás Fernandes present national junior champion and 3rd place world junior in 2014 and Guilherme Fonseca. Have all played a part in the success of our label.
The history and surfers involved runs deep, Paulo Inocentes, Bruno Charneca “Bubas”, Tiago Oliveira, João Alexandre “Dapin”, Tommy, Marcos Anastaácio, José Gregório, Ruben Gonzalez, Paulo do Bairro, Jó Bento, António Gama, Miguel Fortes and the greatest of all time who started his career and surfed for us during 10 years, Tiago Pires. All surfers who left their mark in the surfing world riding Semente surfboards.
There has also been a steady flow of professional surfers from around the world that have consistently ordered surfboards when passing through Portugal trusting our quality and shaping designs.
