Semente Surfboards presents the first edition of “Duelo das Gerações” an event that will gather the surfing community on the 14th of July in Ribeira D’Ilhas beach, Ericeira.
This invitational event will celebrate the surfing spirit between generations, featuring some of our team riders and friends along with some of the most promising young talents of the Portuguese “grom” generation.
In a different type of format the professional surfers will team up with the groms (hat draw) and each will compete in their own division for the team trophy. To finish the event in a high note the Big Final will feature the two best professionals and the two best juniors of the event. The four surfers will compete for the individual trophy in a true duel of generations.
The event will have a cool competition vibe between the different generations giving groms the opportunity to compete and hang out with some of their idols. The team spirit and a different format are all about enriching everyones competitive day and doing something positive for their surfing evolution.
Aside from the surf comp there will be a free Test Drive with the latest Semente Surfboards models. The brand invites the competitors, parents, coaches and all the surfing community to join the “party” (convívio) that will happen after the awards ceremony.
